Sorry again for the delay. Here’s a funny to make it up to you.

On July 31, 2008, Heeb Magazine is hosting a Summer Issue Release Party in honor of their first ever Swimsuit Issue. Oy Velo is trying to get it’s act together to contribute to the goodie bags, but you should go regardless of the free crap on offer.

Every four years, Jews from Israel, New York, Boca and one or two other places gather in Israel to compete at the Maccabi Games. There is a cycling category. Not sure on the details yet, but let me know if you’re interested. I’d love to organize it with Hazon for July 2009.

Louis Garneau apologized for the mix up and will redo the order free of charge. The purple Israeli flag will be changed to blue. Apparently, in Canada, blue is purple, just like bacon is ham and miles are kilometers.

You can’t tell from yesterday’s post, but the jerseys are purple instead of blue. Seriously, there is a purple and white Israeli flag on the sleeves. Good for an LSU fan, bad for a Jewish jersey. I think Louis Garneau will do the right thing and make blue jerseys for me, we’ll see.

Here’s me winning the Tour de My Neighborhood in my brand spank’n new jersey. You can’t tell from this picture, but the jerseys are purple. Oops. Hopefully Louis Garneau will fix that snafu.
